Winter Road Safety Sessions

In December 2022, a team of Amey employees made visits to Oakgrove Primary School in Glasgow and Dreghorn Primary School and Largs Primary School in North Ayrshire to deliver a series of presentations on winter road safety to a total of 940 primary school pupils.The presentations detailed how Amey keeps the roads safe during the colder months and pupils were given the chance to see one of our named gritters up close and ask lots of tough questions that had the team scratching their heads! The children were also presented with traffic management toys, including traffic lights, road signs, and hard hats to play with and practice their road safety.
